How does abuse reporting work?

  3. Direct Contact: If for any reason you can't find the "Report Abuse" button, you can also report incidents by contacting us directly via email or through the Contact Us form. Please provide as much detail as possible, including the username of the individual you're reporting and the nature of the abuse.

What Happens Next:

  • Investigation: Once a report is submitted, our team will review the information provided and investigate the issue.
  • Action: Depending on the outcome of the investigation, we may issue warnings, suspend accounts, or take other appropriate action.
  • Confidentiality: The reporting process is confidential, and the reported user will not be informed of the identity of the person who filed the report.

  • Platform-Based Evidence: It is essential to note that we can only take action on interactions that occur within the RentAFriend platform. If the engagement happened outside of our system, our ability to intervene may be limited.
