How do Friends set their hourly rates?

As a Friend on RentAFriend, you have the flexibility to set your own hourly rates based on what you believe your time and expertise are worth. Here's how you can set or update your hourly rate:

1. Log in to Your Account: Make sure you are logged in to your RentAFriend account to access your profile settings.
2. Navigate to Profile Settings: Once logged in, go to your profile dashboard. This is usually accessible from the top right-hand corner of the web page or under a menu if you are using a mobile device.
3. Find Rate Options: Scroll down to the bottom of the profile settings page. You will find a section dedicated to 'Rate Options.'
4. Set Your Rate: You can enter your desired hourly rate in the field provided. Make sure it's a fair rate that also reflects the quality and type of companionship you provide.
5. Review & Save: Once you've entered your rate, review it to make sure it's accurate. When you're satisfied, click the 'Save Changes' or 'Update Profile' button to make your new rate live.
6. Optional - Add Extra Info: If you offer multiple services or different experiences that might warrant different rates, you can mention this in your profile description. For instance, if you're skilled in a particular area like tour guiding, language translation, etc., you may want to adjust rates accordingly and make that clear in your profile text.
