How Profiles are Approved on Rent a Friend
The approval process for profiles on Rent a Friend is designed to ensure a high standard of quality and safety for our community. Here's a detailed outline of how we review and approve profiles:
Initial Submission
- Photograph Requirements: To start a profile as a friend, you must submit up to two photographs. This is a mandatory step to ensure that friends have a visual representation on their profile. Members seeking friends can choose whether to submit a profile or not.
Review Process
- Manual Approval: After receiving your application, our team conducts a manual review. This involves assessing both your description and photographs to ensure they meet our standards.
- Objective Assessment: Our main goal during the review is to evaluate the overall quality of the profile. We focus on the clarity, appropriateness, and presentation of the photographs and the descriptiveness and sincerity of the profile text.
Common Reasons for Rejection
- Submit One More Photo: If one or more of your photographs are not of the desired quality but show potential, we may ask for additional submissions.
- Low Quality: This indicates that either the photographs, the profile description, or both do not meet our quality standards. This could be due to poor image resolution, inadequate lighting, or a lackluster description.
- Too Many People or Underage Presence: Profiles will be rejected if the photos include too many people or if there is an underage individual visible. Our platform is committed to maintaining an adult-only user base.
- Face Not Visible: Clear visibility of your face is crucial. Rejections under this category are typically due to obstructions like sunglasses or other elements that obscure the face.
Feedback and Improvement
- When a profile is rejected, we provide specific reasons to help applicants understand what improvements are needed. This feedback is aimed at guiding you to enhance your profile for potential re-submission.
Our approval process is thorough because we are dedicated to creating a safe, diverse, and high-quality community. By adhering to these guidelines, you can improve your chances of creating a successful profile on Rent a Friend.
