RentAFriend does not tolerate any content that glorifies, promotes, or encourages self-harm in any form. Additionally, we prohibit any activity that may put your life at risk, lead to physical harm, or encourage others to engage in harmful behavior. This includes actions performed as stunts or jokes, as well as any behavior that could reasonably be expected to cause physical injury to anyone within our community.

  1. Glorification and/or promotion of self-harm
  2. Sharing graphic details of suicide notes or suicide attempts
  3. Use of hard drugs and substances not fit for human consumption (e.g., tide pods, bleach)
  4. Misuse of legal substances (e.g., prescription drugs, whippets)
  5. Cutting or other forms of self-injury
  6. Consumption of alcohol or other substances that lead to being incapacitated
  7. Dangerous or distracted driving, including using a phone while driving and driving under the influence

We understand the importance of providing support and resources for those struggling with mental health issues. However, we believe it is essential to approach these topics with sensitivity and responsibility. Therefore, any content that violates our guidelines regarding self-destructive behavior will be promptly removed, and appropriate actions will be taken, including account suspension or termination if necessary.

It is our collective responsibility to create a supportive and safe environment for all members of the RentAFriend community. We encourage open dialogue and support for those in need, while also maintaining a commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of everyone in our community.


  • Violence and Threats

RentAFriend is committed to fostering a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all members of our community. Acts and threats of violence are completely incompatible with our values and will not be tolerated under any circumstances. We take a zero-tolerance approach to violence on our platform, and any accounts found to be associated with such behavior will be subject to immediate and indefinite suspension.

Examples of prohibited behavior include:

  1. Attempts or threats to physically harm or kill others.
  2. Attempts or threats to engage in hacking, doxxing, DDOS attacks, or swatting against others.
  3. Use of weapons to threaten, intimidate, harm, or kill others.
  4. Encouraging others to participate in activities that may cause harm to others.

In cases where a user has lost control of their broadcast due to a severe injury, medical emergency, police action, or being targeted with serious violence, we will temporarily remove the profile and associated content to ensure the safety of all parties involved.

In rare and exceptional circumstances, we may take preemptive action to suspend accounts if we believe that an individual's use of RentAFriend poses a high risk of inciting violence. Factors considered in such cases include the individual's level of influence, past reckless behavior (both on RentAFriend and elsewhere), ongoing threats, and the potential scale of harm.

We are also committed to preventing and addressing content or activities that threaten or promote sexual violence or exploitation. Such behavior is strictly prohibited on RentAFriend and may be reported to law enforcement authorities for further action.


  • Terrorism and Violent Extremism

At RentAFriend, we are committed to maintaining a safe and inclusive environment for all members of our community. Terrorism and violent extremism are antithetical to these values, promoting unlawful violence and spreading messages of intolerance. Therefore, RentAFriend does not tolerate any content that depicts, glorifies, encourages, or supports terrorism, violent extremist actors, or their acts.

Prohibited behavior includes:

  1. Displaying or linking to terrorist or extremist propaganda, including graphic images or footage of terrorist or extremist violence, even if the intention is to denounce such content.
  2. We strictly prohibit any content that threatens or encourages others to commit acts resulting in serious physical harm or significant property destruction. Our goal is to ensure the safety and well-being of our community members and to prevent the spread of harmful ideologies.

Any violations of these guidelines will result in immediate action, including the removal of offending content and the suspension of associated accounts.   • Adult Sexual Violence and Exploitation

At RentAFriend, we prioritize the safety and well-being of our community members. Acts of sexual violence and exploitation are egregious offenses that have no place in our community. We maintain a zero-tolerance policy towards any content or activities that promote or threaten sexual violence or exploitation.

Prohibited behavior includes:

  1. Engaging in non-consensual sex acts.
  2. Coercing a guest into committing a sex act by threatening them.
  3. Touching another person in an intimate manner without their explicit consent.
  4. Sharing or threatening to share private sexually explicit content without the permission of the person depicted, including revenge porn or leaked nude images.
  5. Creating or sharing doctored or 'deepfake' intimate images of an identifiable person.

Any violations of these guidelines will result in immediate suspension of your RentAFriend account. We take these matters seriously and encourage members of our community to report any instances of sexual violence or exploitation to us for prompt action. Additionally, such behavior may be reported to law enforcement authorities for further investigation and legal action


  • Youth Safety

At RentAFriend, we are committed to providing a safe and secure environment for all members of our community, especially youth. We have strict policies in place to protect minors from any form of exploitation or harm. Users must be 18 years or older to participate at RentAFriend and we take all the precautions to screen users before joining.

Prohibited behavior includes:

  1. Sharing sexually explicit content or sexualized images of youth.
  2. Sharing links to third-party sites that contain content prohibited by this policy.
  3. Creating, promoting, or engaging in content that sexualizes or exploits youth.
  4. Facilitating inappropriate interactions with youth, including grooming, exposing them to sexually explicit material, or engaging in sexual conversations.
  5. Attempting to exploit youth by coercing them into providing money, favors, or intimate imagery with threats.
  6. Sharing content depicting nudity of youth.
  7. Identifying alleged victims of child sexual abuse material (CSAM) by name or image.

Any violation of these guidelines will result in immediate and indefinite suspension of your RentAFriend account. We take these matters seriously and collaborate with relevant authorities whenever any violation is encountered.


  • Unauthorized Sharing of Private Information

At RentAFriend, we prioritize the privacy and safety of our users. We strictly prohibit the sharing of private information without explicit consent.

Prohibited actions include:

  1. Sharing personally identifiable information (PII), such as someone's address, phone number, or email address, without their permission.
  2. Sharing restricted or protected social media profiles or any information obtained from those profiles.
  3. Sharing content that violates another person's reasonable expectation of privacy, such as streaming from a private location, without obtaining proper consent.
  4. Broadcasting unauthorized access to private video conference calls or any other intrusion of private spaces.

  8. Expressing contempt, hatred, or disgust based on protected characteristics.
  9. Mocking the victims or denying the occurrence of well-documented hate crimes or acts of mass murder/genocide against protected groups.
  10. Making unfounded claims assigning blame to protected groups or inciting fear about protected groups as it relates to health and safety.
  11. Encouraging sexual orientation conversion therapy or endorsing hate groups.
  12. Creating accounts dedicated to promoting hate.

No, you can report harassment without first notifying the other user. However, if you choose to communicate this, do so only if it's safe and appropriate. If the behavior persists despite your communication, report the user and consider using tools like blocking or banning.

  1. How can I indicate that a behavior is unwanted?

You can indicate that a behavior is unwanted by issuing channel moderation actions against the individual or clearly denouncing the behavior. RentAFriend considers these indications when evaluating reports of harassment and hateful conduct.

  1. I enjoy friendly banter. How can I ensure it doesn’t cross into harassment?

Be mindful of others' boundaries and cease if someone indicates discomfort. Avoid topics like sexual solicitations or encouraging self-harm, as these are never acceptable forms of banter.

  1. Can I be suspended for sexually suggestive conversations if both parties consent?

RentAFriend does not tolerate sexually suggestive conversations that may make others uncomfortable, regardless of consent. Always ensure conversations are respectful and appropriate.

  1. Am I responsible for hateful content on my profile?

As a user, you're responsible for ensuring your profile content aligns with our guidelines. Report any hateful or inappropriate content and consider removing or editing it.

  1. Are users accountable for all hateful content on their profiles?

Users are expected to maintain civil and respectful profiles. Failure to do so may result in suspension.

  1. What language is considered violating?

We don't specify prohibited language to prevent evasion of our policy. Context is considered when evaluating whether language violates our guidelines.

While we allow discussions of sensitive topics for educational purposes, promoting hateful viewpoints under the guise of humor or satire is not tolerated. Content must be respectful and considerate.

Illegal Activity

Respecting the Law

We expect all users to comply with local, national, and international laws while using our platform. Any content or activity that involves, encourages, promotes, or solicits illegal behavior is strictly prohibited and may be reported to the appropriate authorities.

Engaging in any form of human trafficking, including but not limited to sex trafficking, sales of children, forced marriages, or domestic servitude. Buying or selling illegal drugs, firearms, or counterfeit goods through Rentafriend .Participating in or assisting with the destruction, defacement, or theft of public or private property without proper authorization.


Respecting Intellectual Property Rights

At RentAFriend, we uphold the importance of intellectual property rights and ensure compliance with intellectual property laws. Therefore, users are not permitted to share content on their RentAFriend profiles that they do not own or have the rights to share.

For instance, users may not share:

  1. Performing copyrighted content owned by others, such as playing copyrighted songs from other artists.
  2. Content created by other RentAFriend users or from other websites without proper authorization.
  3. Pirated games or content from unauthorized private servers.
  4. Movies, television shows, or sports matches without proper authorization.
  5. Music that users do not own or have the rights to share, including background music in a user's profile.
  6. Unauthorized sharing of content on RentAFriend violates our Terms of Service and may result in the removal of such content.
  7. Violations could lead to permanent suspension of a user's account.

For instance, users are not allowed to:

Such actions will result in further enforcement measures, potentially leading to an indefinite suspension of your accounts.
